We believe the best experiences in life happen when we put what we know into what we love. At St. Louis school, we believe in nurturing the whole child—mind, body and spirit. Uniqueness, values and excellence are the essence of who we are and what we do.
As a parent, you entrust your child to our school for the best possible education. However, your involvement does not stop at the school door—we want you to come in and get involved! We offer opportunities not only for your child, but also for your family!
Social outlets are everywhere at St. Louis School. You can hear it in the joyful exuberance during recess and play times. Witness it in our young leaders enjoying the camaraderie of our Cub Scout, Daisy and Girl Scout troops. See it in our young athletes combining learning and fair play in our CYO basketball teams, and staying together in town sports like Pittsford Mustangs soccer and Little League.
But most of all, there is a lot of family fun to be had! The Family Picnic, Ice Cream Social, Seabreeze Family Day and GALA are all wonderful ways for our families to gather for fellowship and fun!
Children in Pre-School through fourth grade dress up in costume for Halloween and parents are invited to celebrate at the annual Halloween parade. Children in grades 4-5 celebrate with a storyteller.
Ice Cream Social
One night each February, Reddington Hall is transformed into a virtual summer celebration, complete with ice cream sundaes, entertainment and excitement. This is one night you won’t forget!
Four times each year, children in grades K-5 enjoy rollerskating in our school gymnasium. This is always an exciting day in which older students help younger students. Parents are invited to share in the excitement with their child.
Early in September, families gather at Eyer Park for an evening picnic to kick off the school year. The kids swarm the playground equipment and run throughout the park while families new and old connect! This is always a much-enjoyed event and one you won’t want to miss!
St. Louis Church sponsors the scouting program for students who attend St. Louis School or St. Louis Church. Parent volunteers schedule regular meetings, field trips, campouts, service and social activities in accordance with the national scouting program.
During the last week of school, one day is designated for family fun and recreation at Seabreeze Amusement Park. This is a fabulous and fun way to celebrate the beginning of summer vacation!
